Stone In Bladder Diverticulum

Stone formation in the diverticulum is due to stagnation of urine inside the diverticulum. Over a period of time, because of constant stagnation of urine in the diverticulum,stones are formed within the diverticulum. The symptoms may be pain, hematuria, frequency, of urination or recurrent infection. Diagnosis is made radiologically and confirmed by cystoscopy. Treatment: Cystolitholapaxy.
