Pus From Ureteric Orifice
Pus From Ureteric Orifice usually happens with Kidney infection and or obstruction possibly due to sloughed papillae or stone in the ureter. Kidney may appear swollen on scanning with obstruction. Patient may have features of infection with fever, vomiting and raised inflammatory markers and may have impaired kidney functions. Treatment is drainage of kidney - PCN / STENTING - and removal of obstructing cause by surgery. |
